The Business Development Unit of
Guidance Services Ltd (part of the Guidance Enterprises
Group) was established on 1st April 1999. The unit
aims to develop and promote services for the benefit
of local communities, business customers and their
employees. The Business Development Unit works across
York, North Yorkshire and the Wakefield District to
secure contracts for projects from a variety of funding
sources including: European Union, DfEE, Jobcentre
Plus, Local Authority, LSC and RDA. All funding sources
are generally aimed at the following areas of need:

The
Business Development Unit is committed to achieving
access to diverse funding streams including sub-regional,
regional and national funds and will continue to
focus on transnational projects, increased partnership
working with organisations both across the UK and
in Europe.

Interested in obtaining a qualification in Advice and Guidance or in Learning and Development and Support Services for Children, Young People and Those Who Care for Them?
Our NVQ Centre offers NVQ qualifications at level 2,3 and 4 in Advice and Guidance and NVQ level 4 in LDSS.
We also offer the A1 assessor’s award for those people who are qualified and wish to train as an assessor.
Our NVQ Centre has been recognised as of high standard by our Awarding Bodies – OCR and Edexel and as such holds direct claim status on the awards we offer.
