Get on at Life (GOAL) 1st October 2005 – 31 December 2007

Funded through Government Office Direct Funding (ESF Objective 3). GOAL is a Guidance Services led, Connexions West Yorkshire Partnership specialist programme designed to re-engage 70 young people aged 13-16 from across the Wakefield District, who have opted out of learning. This will be achieved through the provision of intensive one-to-one mentoring, access to alternative learning programmes and enhanced Careers Education and Guidance. At present 29 young people are engaged on this project.
